Sometimes when I take the phone out of my pocket I have to enter the PIN code again, just like if the phone has restarted, but I don't have to use the password to get into it afterwards.

Then I have a problem where I can randomly get an error saying it can't find the SIM card.
I've replaced it and it was fine for about 1-1.5 months before it started again.
I've now changed the location of the card so we'll see if it gets better.

I bought the phone (a Samsung Galaxy A35) at the end of May so I don't think it should be messing around this much already.

Turn your phone off, take out the sim card and whipe it gently and then turn your phone back on and see if it detects the sim card. If that don't work I'd try it in another phone to see if it works. I've had similar issue while back and it turned out I didn't insert it juuuust right.

As to the pin code, the fingerprint censor are bit sensitive i think and will do that sometimes.

Regarding the pin code question sometimes you're phone can hibernate when its in your pocket and the fingerprint reader can be temporarily disabled then it will ask for a pattern or a pin to open the screen after hibernation. It can also be that when its in your pocket it can sometimes light up the display a couple of times due to a sensitive powerbotton. And it automatically disable temporarely the fingerprint unlock so you have to enter your pin or pattern. Sometimes it can fix wake up the fingerprint unlock sensor again by pressing the powerbotton once more for an half of a sec. Regarding your sim issue it can be like my brother in arms @1855 describes here. Rarely a phone specific problem i believe its a simcard issue. But to be on the safe side i would recommend you to lift the issue with Samsung support for more accurate response to your problem. Bestregards AndroidSweden

I'm purdy sure you put the sim card in the wrong way 😆😂 . They are so small and the tray holding the simcard doesn't give much wiggleroom.

Can you put it inside the wrong way and it still works? I believe she wrote that it worked for a month and a half and the issue reapers. It sounds more like a sim specific problem. Or something with her network on the sim. Some of the Swedish Cell operators rekomends e-sim before physical sim because of better stability overall.

So you mean that my phone worked perfectly may-august with my sim card the wrong way? Nah I don't think so

You replaced the sim card and it's quite possible that you put it in...somewhat right but when your phone os in your pocket it moves around yeah thus making the sim card move ever so slightly and loosing connection.

Yes it can connect even if it's put in loosely. If you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth

The simcard shouldn't move around because the sim tray is built so the sim sits flush with the tray for a better connection. If you put it in the wrong way around the phon would say no sim. Because the sim needs to conect with the pads inside the phone. Its like you say id*** proof. The only way the sim would move around and loose connection is if the sim is somewhat damaged or the wrong size. My advice is anyway to check with another simcard from your carrier. And contact Samsung support if the problem still occurs.
