Today I set up an a9 tab for my nan. What fun this was. She has an old Samsung a6 tab which last week the battery run down 0 and shut down. Charging the tab back up powered on the tab to it asking to enter pin code. My nan, I've never needed to enter a pin code before. She ordered a a9 tab as the a6 is a little out dated and ask me if I could set it up. Not a problem of course. I wish it was. Setting up I entered the email address for Google. She then gave me the password. Not the correct password. In this little book she then let me try two more passwords. None were the right one. And no other device to confirm with her email. I then tried to sign in using existing tablet the a6 tab. We could see the notification but because the tab is locked not knowing the pin we couldn't verify that way. Luckily we manage to recover her google account. She had her husbands email for a recovery. Email sent and new password created. Yes, finally 😂. Signed into google and also entered her phone number so that is now available for verification. Just remember to avoid any head aches. Always jot your passwords down in a book and keep them in a safe place. As for the a6 I went into recovery mode and factory reset. Signed back in with the new google password. As for the tab a9, it's not a bad little tab. Little laggy compared to my s series s9. For the price overall she is happy with it and is fine for what she needs it for. Yes I made her jot all the passwords down in her little book.
