since the recent sw update to 2141, my external hd stopped working. I can see the content and watch what I have recorded. But no more recording. It just says “failed to record “
I have tried all the normal plugs in and out etc. The tv recognises the ext drive just normally but…

I would then recommend that you call customer support while you are next to the TV so they can connect to your TV and investigate the problem further. Not sure which country you are in:

just for your information, I had to (re)format the disk in order to get it working. The customer support was of little or help. I still think there’s a byte missing from the latest 2141 update version
