Idea - Pride colourways on Samsung Phones

Hey all,

Just thought I'd ping a quick post up here because I'd be really intrigued to see how many people would be interested in a Pride-coloured Samsung phone?

I've got a Pride/Pansexual sticker on the back of my S23 Ultra. I identify as Pansexual. And I've had so many comments from people feeling reassured from seeing that sticker and knowing that they can confide in me.

And I can't help thinking that a Pride colourway would be a fantastic idea. Maybe some of the money from sales could go to a Pride charity.

Anyways, thought I'd share my thoughts. If you'd like Sammy to come out with a Pride coloured phone, then comment. And keep commenting. Let's see if we can get this idea to Samsung!😀

A really interesting idea.

I believe that Pride coloured cases (and other options) are currently available which may be a middle ground to giving those who want to promote Pride the way to do so. Given most devices are a singular or maybe duo colour, the case route is probably the obvious way to go.

May I suggest you go to Samsung Members, click on Support (bottom right) and then Feedback and pop your idea there for the Development Team to see.

It would likely be (one of the?) first and Samsung do like to lead.....

It is certainly worth asking the question.

I was also disappointed to see another comment from another member (no names here) being derogatory about what I shall broadly say is "Pride".

This Forum is intended to be inclusive. Everyone should be free to respectfully share their views without such responses. I'm pleased to see the comment was removed (by whatever methodology).

I'm middle aged.
The list goes on.......

None of that matters. Fact is we are all different and (a slightly controversial statement next) I certainly do not believe we should treat everyone the same.......

What we should be doing is being respectful and giving opportunity to all, opportunity for people to achieve what is important to them and their world. And achieving this without negativity.

@CrazyTom2k2  The forum certainly aims to be inclusive and  in my view organisations should support Pride.  in the US anyway  know there is a Global  Diversity Awarness Monthhttps://news.samsung.com/us/global-diversity-awareness-month-samsung-employee-groups-fostering-inclu...  A pride coloured phone would certainly be worth exploring, there are cases as has been mentioned.

If you get goodlock , you may be able to have bold custom colours in the pink, yellow and blue 🩷💛 💙

Might get something close with the stock colour palettes but think goodlock has much more options
