Not official news but according to the Jooang Daily  Samsung will host Galaxy Unpacked in New York in early July for the first time since 2022.  The  feeling  is that company wishes to place more emphasis on the US market due to the increased risks due to tariff policy.

An industry insider stated that:

"The second half of the Unpacked has been held mainly in cultural cities, such as Seoul in 2023 and Paris last year," and "This time, it will be held again in New York, the most representative cultural city, after three years."

Anyway  the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will be launched  along with the Galaxy watches and possibly the XR Headset.

Obviously has been a fair bit of speculation already. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to have a larger external display and thinner bezels compared to its predecessor, the Z Flip 6. The Z Fold 7 is also expected to be about 1mm thinner and lighter than the previous model, and the crease on the display where it folds is also expected to be improved .

Thank you James

New York would be a fabulous place for the next Unpacked 😊

Looking forward to seeing what they do with the foldables this year.

@@James4578 Great points about keeping Trumpty Dumpty happy. I think Samsung recently dropped him another few $100k, but reading up it negligible to the "sweeter" or "backhanders" the other big tech have given.

I think Flip and Fold are now mainstream, hoping Samsung either addresses its durability so my sphincter isn't constantly on alert or blitz us with the XR glasses or is it headset

Rumour is Apple is still slow plodding along with their flip type product. I think another dismal failure like their Car and Headset, the latter is actually liked even as the £3k price point, shocked Apple just gave in.

I think Samsung should go all Star Trek with either transparent devices or the holographic type.

Hope to be one of the chosen ones 🙏🙏🙏
