Apologies if i am posting on the wrong message board as this is the 1st time i have been on here. I will be returning my old Samsung S9 phone to Samsung as a trade in for a newer phone, but i would like to delete evrything from the phone before i send it back to them............ although they have said they will delete everything as soon as my old phone arrives with them.
Of course I will be removing my sim card and micro sd card , but after i have taken these out , I would like to delete anything that might still be stored on the phone somewhere.
please can you advise me of the best way to "clean" my phone of any of my information or details.
Many thanks Jimmy

HI @Members_S5SYfks just to add that you need to remove the Google Account and not have any software locks. Back up Data before factory resetting.

Personally @Members_S5SYfks I log out of all my various accounts and then factory reset a couple of times.
As per Samsungs recycling criteria they'll also perform a wipe too.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎
