The AppCloud Spyware thread got "temporarily" locked by Moderator Danny T back in September who escalated it to Samung. So far (Nov 7) tumbleweed.  Am starting this to see if anyone has any FACTUAL information since Samsung clearly don't.

@JJBrnrd  Welcome to the Samsung community :smiling-face:

Do not have any further information , assume there is no official word yet. Perhaps one of the Moderators can confirm.

Just switch to another phone (Any brand), privacy has to be more important than which device you have.
Maybe users will have to take action if OEM won't...

I just watched a post on FB account "The Sundeep", advising that this spyware is specifically related to Samsung models A and M and particularly in Africa and West Asia, however they said that other models in yhe rest of yhe world can't be ruled out either. It cannot be removed, and even if disabled still runs in the background.
The advice was to get a new device.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I just searched AppCloud on my device. It is not on it.
