Whilst there are many benefits to AI also the downsides, scammers do try and take advantage of it and obviously the vulnerable are more  susceptible than others.

However always need to be on your guard  and the attempts are becoming more sophisticated.  voice cloning and deep fakes are growing , need to take precautions.  it is advisable to block Spam Calls  However there are certain tell tale signs and with voice cloning an idea to set a safe word for family and friends.

Glad you brought this up @JAMES4578 as AI evolving rapidly sometimes it's hard to tell what's true and what's not.
With all these new AI video, voice, picture editing capabilities, people might fall for one of them.

Yes indeed thanks.  Younger folk and the techically aware can also fall for  one of these scams without due dilligence.

Most definitely, specially things like SORA, Synthesia ( this AI video generator for avatars who ARE BASED ON REAL LIFE PEOPLE) just to name few.
