hi all, does anyone know if there is any way to turn off the AI watermark at the bottom left? even if i want to remove a person from a photo it adds one, which in my opinion is unnecessary. Also give us the option to save it directly instead of "save as copy".

Watermark is just an attempt to reduce any potential, some might say inevitable, misuse of the feature

But i dont understand the point, whenever you can literally just remove the watermark with object remover.

This is part of an agreement that I think governments have decided to have implemented.
So you will find that AI software will be watermarked to show when images have been altered or created using AI software.
But I know that there is software out there that can remove watermarks anyway

Bit strange imo. the fact that its so small anyway most people couldn't even see it. And the fact you can remove it via the gallery app and crop it out of the picture.

I know, but that's what they've come up with.
I think once AI is more mainstream we will see this sort of thing dissappear. I guess it's the fear of the unknown.
Look at how editing software is now accepted
