Okay, I have the S24+, and I've experienced some touchscreen input problems. When tapping quickly on homescreen icons, sometimes the tap is missed, and I need to tap again. I checked in the developer options, enabled the 'show taps' option, and it's clear that this is a SOFTWARE ISSUE because the tap is shown on the icon, but the tap is not processed, and the icon doesn't open!
I'm sure that all S24 units are affected by this ( see Flossy Carter review, had same problem ), but 80% of users don't mind because of slower tapping. I do! I want to tap very fast and not have ghosted and missed taps.
I don't use any screen protector or case; touch sensitivity doesn't help. Samsung, please, we are waiting for an update.
For users experiencing problems with scrolling, try disabling the 'accidental touch protection' option! This solved the issue for me, especially on the Reddit site where the scrolling problem is worst. Now, it's working great.
So that's the second problem; if we enable accidental touch protection, we get missed scrolling. Both are software issues.
I hope Samsung will release an update for this soon!
