I have the S22+ and noticed that SIM1 showed Emergency Calls only.. this has happened 3 times in the past 2 days. I am unable to make or receive calls aswell as not being able to use the Internet. I tried calling my phone from another phone and whilst both sims show full bars, I am not able to receive calls etc

The spooky thing is that the phone shows the full signal bars for SIM1 (unlike the signal issues on S21 Ultra post Android 12 update where the signal was intermittent on both sims)

The only way to get it working is either toggle the airplane mode button or restart and then it works fine until next time.

Has anyone faced the same issue? Is this the same as GSM drop out issue other folk are facing?

What is the general consensus? Is it software related or hardware? I know one member had a latest Android package at the Samsung Store which resolved the issue.

Just contemplating whether to return or see if the software update fixes the issue.
