Here's a quick recap of your conversation so far
- You're wondering why Samsung doesn't offer flex cable repairs.
- Your Samsung Z Fold 3 5G has multiple issues due to a broken flex cable.
- Repair costs are high, and you believe a simple cable fix is needed.
Why do samsung not offer this option in repairs? You charge ridiculous rates for something that could be fixed by solving the main problem.
In most z fold 3 cases it is the flex cable breaking that causes screen and sound issues.
I don't need a new main screen or speaker's I'm almost 90% sure the problems are due to poor build design. It's is possible to remove the main screen without damage but to cover your own backs you charge full rates for something that is not the issue and that cost ridiculous +£600
It's daylight robbery
Main screens and speaker's don't just stop working i notice conditions worsen the more I opened and closed the device and after intensive research online it tends to be the flex cable has broken due to poor design and overheating of the device putting stress on the component.
The main screen is delicate and expensive which can break during repairs but I see multiple videos online of people removing the inner screen without damage. Instead of getting technicians to do the same you'd just charge me for a new screen and speaker's.
But no option for replacing the flex cable the main root of the problem.
I'd pay a high toll just for the main cause not to be addressed that is a shambles.
Why is flex wire replacement not a choice for fixing the phone I understand the buisness need to make money but that's just damm right greed.
It's funny how all these problems happen just outside of warranty a few months after. Meaning you pay the full rates.
