I have a Samsung S22 Ultra in the UK.  I have also used the Metro Bank app for a couple of years without an issues.

Last week the app stopped working, an error message is shown for about three seconds before the app closes.

SORRY, THE APP CAN'T BE USED ON THIS DEVICE

To keep your personal information safe, the app can't be used on this device as the security configuration on this phone may have been altered.

I know the app is okay as it's working on other devices in the household, the kids have Samsung S10.

Looking at my device software settings it looks like the app has stopped working since the last update.  I am assuming that the security update is triggering something that makes the Metro Banking App think tat the phone has been modified.

There is another S22 in the house and it's working fine on that but isn't running the latest Samsung software update.

I have cleared cache, storage, uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed etc.  The phone isn't rooted or modified in anyway.

I have spoken to Metro Bank and they are not aware of an issues but it might be early days yet as  I believe this is only going to impact people with this update on Samsung phones.

I can't roll back the update.....  Any ideas?

The update Build Number is - S908BXXSBEXG8
Release Date - 2024-08-12
Security Patch Level  - 2024-08-01

And it was a security update, which leads me to think this is the issue.
