Not booting into maintenance menu

Pre-beta: pressing power button and up volume together booted into maintenance menu. Since installing the beta it doesn't work at all, it just boots as normal (as though just the power button is pressed). This fault occurs everytime (constant).

Wanted to boot to maintenance menu to use clear cache option.

Anyone else seeing the same thing.

I seem to recall that with the first beta (maybe the Dev beta too) you'd have to use ADB commands to boot into recovery instead of being able to use the Bixby + volume buttons. Or maybe it was when side loading the beta, can't exactly remember but could try ADB.

To be able to do this in the beta, connect your phone to computer or power with cable and try again with cable connected. Should boot into recovery fine once you do that.

To clear cache through the Recovery mode:

1. Turn off your device
2. Connect your device to the PC via USB (not to the charger)
3. Wait until the message that the device is being charged appears
4. Press and hold down the volume up and then power buttons and hold them untlil the device turns on
5. Recovery menu should appear
6. from there select "Wipe cache partition" (you can navigate using volume up/down buttons and confirm with a power button).
