Accessing recovery mode

I don't seem to be able to access recovery mode on S20+. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? 

My attempts so far:

1) Power off device

2) plug the charger

3) hold volume up and power and release when the initial Samsung screen shows

I've also tried releasing the power button and keep holding the volume up but no luck. 

Any suggestion?

Your doing everything what I do. Maybe hold the buttons down a little longer.

I only got it to work when plug in to a laptop.

I've just tried it again with the headphones plugged in.. Held buttons until samsung logo dimmed. Worked fine.. Hope you get it sorted

Below you can find a path to access the Recovery Mode:

1. Turn off your device
2. Connect your device to the PC/USB C headsets via USB (not to the charger)
3. Wait until the message that the device is being charged appears
4. Press and hold down the volume up and then power buttons and hold them until the device turns on
5. Recovery menu should appear

If you're still unable to access the Recovery Mode, please report the problem via the Samsung Members app.
