Why is new Beta 2 Eating up battery!!

Just updated to the new Beta 2 on 7.0 ending ZXL5 and battery is really being eaten up quickly!!

Got nearly 2 days battery usage on using the Beta 1 software!

14% in 2 hours!! So far using Beta 2!!

Well brooo I have to say that Some of that is 8 hours overnight non use just ticking away in the background!

Mines the same, got 2 days easily off a full charge pre-beta, now I'm lucky to get a day. Hopefully this will be sorted for the stable release and this is only teething issues due to beta software

But can you not check what has used those 14%? I would say after an update like that I would probably wait a few days to assess how the battery usage compares.

This beta I lost a big percentage of battery over night. It's definitely using more power then when I was on android 14. But so far I not hit any serious bugs yet besides the battery draining quicker.

Agree since I rolled in to the beta program my phone battery drain extremely fast. My phone is 2 months old and would expect more than a days battery life from the phone.

I have found battery is a bit worse for me on beta 2.

Funny enough if home on WiFi whole it seems fine like before

Its kinda worse on mobile and WiFi mix.

I have switched to 4g from 5g and see if it will make a difference

Below is for WiFi only whi h is not bad.
