If you mean an incoming call then it will be because they have withheld their number. An individual can intentionally withhold it on calls and many organisations such as NHS have their outgoing caller id's automatically blocked so will show up as Private.
It's nothing to do with Beta, caller ID withholding, ex-directory, and private numbers have been around for decades.

If it happens only on Beta software and the same numbers are displayed on stable One UI release - Please send an error report through Samsung Members app so that the developers can take a look at what may be the cause
