Very odd network issue

Took me forever to figure this out, but whenever my S21 ultra is locked it's causes massive ping spikes across my network and on my router. As soon as I wake the device up it works as normal again. This is on WiFi. I've tried disabling WiFi power saving etc. Still have the issue

Same issue here, kills wireless access for my other devices until I disconnect my phone. Enabling WiFi safe mode in developer options seems to help a bit and putting phone onto routers guest network. Something definitely not right.

It's really weird. What does the WiFi safe mode do? Are you running WiFi AX or AC?

AC, the safe mode option says it priorities stability over performance

Ah okay I am using AX so shows it's across all protocols

Yes it makes it impossible to play games as they spike to 1000 ping every 30 seconds or so

Yup, literally kills wifi access for every device in my house until my phone is disconnected which causes chaos.

Personally I may have to go back to stock firmware, this particular bug is system breaking for me

Had the same thoughts, giving it a few more days to see if there is another update but if nothing by next week will have to roll back
