Scroll effect

Just a quick question... how come scrolling effect was removed? There wasn't an issue my end and there is quite a lot of people who also think the same. Will it come back? Phone feels older again now with the light effect returning

Yes, this is a complete regression. Changlog states this was a bug and removed. It wasn't a bug; it was an AOSP feature from Android 12, and we all like it. Please bring this back. The bug is actually reverting it 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️️

I didn't like it - thought the effect was too strong. If they dialled it back a bit it probably would have been fine

Absolutely. The light effect has been around since the very early android releases. They really need to add scroll effect back. I'm going to tag the beta moderator

It's very odd that it's been tagged as a bug when it was mentioned in the previous change log as an addition!?

No clue whether it's samsung doing their own version, hinting of another animation overhaul, or maybe Google told them not too for some reason?
