Routine to turn on NFC on opening Google Wallet

Hi,

Currently, the routine to turn on NFC on opening Google Wallet does not work.

Got a reply from Samsung Support that this will be fixed in One UI 6.0. Can someone with the beta, check and confirm that the issue has been fixed?

Sorry to hear that hopefully that get fixed. I just tried and worked for Samsung Wallet. Maybe its not working due to Google pay not working properly in beta.

Thanks for response. I have a S22+, so not on One UI 6 beta. But indeed, Google Wallet does not work with the beta, so this will have to wait until the final version of One UI 6 is rolled out.

It is possible that Google Pay will not work during the Beta Programme.

We recommend you using Samsung Pay app instead.

In the official version of the software both apps will be fully functional 😊.

Thanks Martyna. This issue exists from before the beta and the response from Support was that the issue is expected to be fixed in One UI. But since the wallet does not work in the beta, the verification of the fix will have to wait until One UI 6 is generally available.

I tried, and routine works (NFC off, then launch Google wallet, NFC turns on)
If course Google pay will not work, but it shows nfc can be enabled when launching the app 👍 at least on my device, with beta oneui 6
