Should we have the above, or is it only on Pixel phones? There appears to be a great deal of discussion out there, but no direct reference to Android 12 on Samsung.

That's a pure android thing, you'll see it used on Pixel phones. Samsung have kept there own design philosophy within One UI designs.

That's what I thought, thanks. It's just difficult sometimes to differentiate between all the advertising blurb.

I also wish Samsung would adopt the stock android look for the quick settings, the current one looks quite outdated now. I imagine we will probably be able to install a third party that 'adds' this feature but it's a shame that it won't be from Samsung.

I'll pass your feedback on to the developers 😊. Maybe some changes to the look of the Quick Settings can be made 😉.

I managed to get a quick look at the new Pixel. The problem we are developing, along with other hardware providers is this multi stream development of individual operating systems. Android is possibly not the correct name anymore with the different streams from different providers. Tying individual hardware provider software into Google Android is becoming more difficult.The only mobile device provider with a single development road map is that "fruit" company.
