Mobile networks going offline

As soon as I end call, mobile network is not showing up. Its showing "emergency calls only", then I need to manually select network to enable it. This is horrible everytime. Is it issue with mobile software beta version or with network operator.

Have you tried to see if automatic network operator is selected on your device?

To do this go to Settings >> Connections >> Mobile Networks >> Network operators >> Select automatically

By default all phones are set to automatically select the network but there is a bug in this beta which makes that function not work properly and what is being described by the original poster is being experienced by many including me. The only way around it is to change it from automatic to manual and select your network manually. This fixes the issue and you will not have to repeat the same steps.

But there is a problem with manual selection of network while you are travelling. You will not have time to select network when you are travelling and switching between cell towers. Samsung should definitely address this bug. Its a basic functionality of mobile to connect to network.

Have you tried performing Wipe Cache Partition on your device? If that doesn't help, please send an error report through Samsung Members so that the developers can take a look 😊

The manual selection is simply selecting the network provider and not the cell tower so you should not have any issues. I certainly have not and I have left Manchester and been down to London for the Queens lying in state and even Edinburgh just last weekend with no issues. Even got my 5G signal in certain areas. The manual selection is just a workaround for now as automatic has issues in this version of beta. It will get resolved.
