Google wallet broken?

I use Google wallet to be able to pay contactless and now it doesnt work says im on a rooted device or a unsupported software, i cant use samsung wallet as my card isnt supported on it and using samsung pay plus doesnt work aswell is there any work around as of now?

The same thing happened to me with Google Wallet. I hate Samsung Pay; some bank cards don't support it, and Curve is another problem. Can you please fix Google Wallet?

Google Wallet & Google Pay are not certified for each beta release.
If they work ..... That's a bonus, but expect them NOT to work till end of beta (it did warn you of this on the beta sign-up page)

Hello @sugura,

I can confirm that Google Wallet app may not work with Beta software version. Payments with Google Wallet will work as usual when stable version of software is released. If you would like to continue using contactless payments during Beta Programme, you can still use Samsung Wallet instead of Google Wallet.

Its been working with this beta till it recently stopped if it didnt work when this beta came out sure i wont ask but it just stopped suddenly

You were just lucky it worked before, but you shouldn't ask why it doesn't, as this is to be expected, not to mention there are dozens of posts asking the same question already. This is why I personally use Samsung Wallet with Curve, which lets you use any cards/banks (unlike just Samsung Wallet).

Google wallet has been working on every single beta for me except this which isnt a massive problem as i can use my physical card however i wanted to know if there was a work around for the moment being as i prefer paying with my phone and like i said before samsung wallet doesnt work for me as my card isnt supported and I dont like using curve as it fails to work quite often

I've been using Curve (with a NatWest card) for a good few years, for the same reason not being able to pay with GPay, and it has been flawless for me. You even get occasional gifts and discount from the Samsung Wallet.
