End of beta program

I just got one question to ask everyone of you who have joined the one UI 7 beta program.

Does anyone know exactly when the beta program ends? And what usually happens when it does end well, all my data be lost?

1. To withdraw from the Beta programme, you must apply for withdrawal through Samsung Members application on your device.

("Settings > One UI Beta Programme status > Withdraw" menu)

2. To remove the beta software, perform a rollback to the previous release version, using the Smart Switch PC Version on your computer. The rollback resets the device and removes data generated during beta testing.

Note: If you backed up your device data to your computer with Smart Switch, you can restore the data after the rollback process. To perform the rollback, connect the device to your computer with a USB cable. On the computer, launch the Smart Switch application, and select "Downgrade".

The beta will likely end when the stable version is released to public. It is more of an early access than a beta but for the same purpose of bug and testing purposes.

There's no date for OneUI 7 Stable release but expected early next year. Your data should not be lost and would just be like any other update, but do make backups just incase that very rare event happens and some data gets corrupted.

This is the 5th Beta programme I have been part of. They have all lasted different periods of time. I have never lost any information at the end when the Public Version goes live. It's just another update. So don't worry. As a Google 1 subscriber my phone is backed up at least once daily.

As mentioned if you follow all the beta phases you will get the final as an update as well so nothing will be lost.

I personally love to reset my phone after the final to get a clean OS. But that's just me as I have a good backup and restore in place.

Yeah I also have that too. I even backed up my data through smart switch temporary backup

The exact date of when the Beta Programme ends is not yet set and highly depends on how the tests go. Also as mentioned above - after the Beta Programme ends you will be able to update to the stable release 😊
