Contacts not appearing on Share Sheet.

I have flagged this up in Beta Feedback but for me when choosing share, in say the gallery, the share sheet says "No recommended people to share with", happens every time apart from once it worked properly but I can't remember doing anything different that time. I've made sure all permissions are enabled in any apps I want to share in - including contacts just incase (even though this shouldn't impact it). Wondering if anyone else is seeing this and has a fix? No big deal as it's just a beta bug, just an minor inconvenience.

I've just sorted it, it was "Home Up" in good lock interfering with it, even though 5he module isn't supported on 12 yet I still had it installed and had used it for the share sheet option, just uninstalled it on the off chance and all the contact suggestions are back now!

Hi @TessTay ,

This query was from the One UI 4/Android 12 Beta software testing from a few years ago back in 2021. Judging from KalEl84’s post they managed to resolve the issue at the time by uninstalling the Home Up module in Good Lock. The module hadn’t been updated to support One UI 4/Android 12 at that time, but should’ve been updated since then.

If that’s not applicable to you (or indeed @SamSUCK429 ) and you're experiencing the same problem, then it’s best to send an error report via the Members app.

As soon as you can after the issue occurs (within 15 minutes is best):

Samsung Members > Support > Send feedback > Error Reports > [select error type] > choose frequency of issue, and write an accurate and good description (and attach any screenshots/pictures/videos showing the issue if you want/are able to) > tick ‘Send system log data’ > Send (the > icon on the top right).

(Or, for a shortcut: Long-press the Samsung Members icon on the Apps screen, and select 'Error reports' from the dropdown menu, and follow the steps from there.)

That will send that report and log files for the Samsung developers to analyse and provide you with advice.
