Is it worth clearing the cache partition once we go from beta to stable? Or wouldn't it make much difference?

I already cleared the cache partition once, after I initially enrolled onto the beta program.

Personally I always perform partition cache wipe after every software update(stable or beta)

Yes it would be advisable and best performed after updates.   Generally it should lead to a better performance, cache partition can include outdated or in some cases corrupted Data.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Hello @davepb

as explained above, it is recommended to clear the cache partition when updating. This ensures removal of remaining files from previous software versions that could potentially affect the device's performance.

Have a great day! 🙂

Reset system cache partition can only be done from the android recovery menu.

Probably a stupid question, but why is this not offered as part of the update process?

When you are asked if you want to install the update now, you could also be asked if you want the cache partition cleared after install.

That way, a script could do the deed and stop the unwary accidentally breaking something in the recovery mode.

Just a thought.
