Android 13 Beta

Since updating to the One UI 5.0 beta with Android 13 I've not been able to use my phone to make contactless payments, and WiFi calling regularly fails. 

Google Wallet says my device is not secured since installing the beta.

Anybody else experienced this - anybody know how to roll back without having to factory reset the phone?

HI @markinapub  Google pay will  not work during Betas as the security protocol is not present and would have been explained in the Terms and Conditions. Samsung Pay though is usually ok.

However should you wish to revert to the previous software you can withdraw via the Samsung Members App.   Settings -One Ui Beta- Withdraw.

To actually downgrade the software you would need to connect your Device to a computer and use the Smart Switch application where you will see a downgrade option.  However it is advisable to back up your Data being doing so.

However note that on current schedule the stable  Ui 5.0 will start rolling out to the Z Fold 3 at some point in November.

@JAMES4578 explained everything perfectly - during the Beta Programme not all apps will work as expected, and this particularly affects Google Pay, which needs to be certified by Google.

In the stable version of the software, this will no longer be an issue. 🙂

Since update fast (25w)charging doesn't appear to be working , thought it might be my charger so bought a new one . Some commented that Samsung Pay not working , but it is for me
