5G SA support on the way?

I could not help notice that in Settings if I search 5G I can see '5G Service Mode', a feature previously seen on Korean and Chinese variants of devices.

My last fold 3 was unable to connect to 5G SA networks when the carrier is operating in supported bands but have no 5G NSA support.

Oddly enough, online support just keep assuring me that both Fold 3 and 4 support both SA and NSA, while carriers' specialist say there should be this option in Developers Menu.

Really like to see this added with One UI 5!

Both Fold 4 and Fold 3 have 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) in their specifications. 🙂

Although in the international specs page, it states that both device support SA, but this notation is not appearing in UK's specs page. It is known that hardware is different when devices in the same name is sold in different countries, one good example may be that UK version do not support mmWave and have two nano sim card slots, while the US version has mmWave and can only hold one physical sim.

Would you mind confirm with the developers that this is enabled for UK version of fold 4 (unlocked)? As last time when I travel back home my fold 3 (UK, unlocked) could not connect to th SA network all the time while the same sim card could connect to that network using multiple devices at Band N78.
