Since joining the beta programme I have noticed that I have to manually change my 4g to 5g. Keeps happening. I'm on EE - anyone else having similar issues and anyone managed to resolve it?

Also on EE but seems ok for me, switches itself to 5G. Maybe need to reset your network settings or wipe your cache partition.

I'm on 3 and have no issues. I wonder if it's worth running an app. Called speed test or other similar to determine actual speed on 4g and 5g to rule out if the phone is automatically changing to 4g because it thinks it's giving a better service. Just a though and hope it helps

I've had the same problem, except I can only get data working by picking specific 4G bands

I'm on virgin mobile who use O2 network and also 2nd SIM is EE, when I'm around Wolverhampton area, I have to disable 5G, and only use 4G, the 5G masts although I get full signal do not allow me to make any calls and I get zero data, just as if I have no signal and no data connection at all, connect to the 4g and it works fine, it's always been this way, even before the beta, my Sims are both 5G enabled and obviously the S21 ultra is too.

No such issues here.

Please, report the problem via the Samsung Members app attaching log files, right after the issue occurs:hand-with-index-and-middle-fingers-crossed:.
