Hi @josh97 That is excessive, how often is this happening and are you using power intensive applications at the time. Do you have a lot of apps running in the background as that can cause an issue. Ensure all apps are up to date, aware that some Members have encounterd this issue when transferring apps via Smart Switch. it can be better manually installing them. However when the device's temperature reaches a certain level a warning message should appear where the device will slow down , the screen will be dimmed and some features will be limited until the phone cools down. in any case it is best not to use for a short period when it is very hot. An idea to clear trhe cache partition to see if it helps:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
if after a period of time and if it a constant issue it would best to contact support.
