Hi,
This guide has been designed to help users of Samsung devices to fully understand the Samsung editor which will allow them to enhance their photos/videos and/or simply to allow you to become a creative artist by playing with the different tints, the different filters offered by Samsung or create new ones.
So I will introduce you to the different sections and show you what each tool in the Samsung editor is for. Once you understand each function, all you have to do is edit your photo/drawing/masterpiece to make it perfect for you.
This guide will evolve over time thanks to YOU because I will not hesitate to modify my definitions if I find that yours are better. These are the topics that will be covered in this manual.
Please do not borrow definitions from other authors who have had to work hard to write their own articles OR have the decency to quote them if you do!
It will therefore be an evolving guide and I invite you to participate in its development.
At this moment, pictures are in French language but i will change them gradually
To enter the photo editor directly, please open the Gallery application, then click on a photo and then click on the pencil to open the Samsung photo/video editor which will allow you to enhance the latter.

Samsung Gallery: Opening the Gallery app
You will see this, all you have to do is choose the photo you want to improve... They are all dated to help you find them easily.
This is what you can do on this page, a complete definition of numbered items will be available if you click on the appropriate link.
- Synchronize the Gallery by clicking on the Cloud
- Do a search by clicking on the magnifying glass

Each icon allows you to find the following items:
- Videos available
- Your favorites
- Recent items
- Suggestions helps you rematrix your photos, let you know if your photos are duplicates so you can save space.
- The location where the photo was taken or the ones you receive that would contain this information
- Your shared albums
- The famous recycle bin that will allow you to recover photos deleted by mistake which will be kept for 30 days.
- Gallery settings which you should watch carefully so as not to loose anything.
If you open a photo in the editor, the 3 small dots at the bottom right you will have:
- Details
- Rematrix a photo
- Add portrait effect
- Copy to Clipboard
- Set as wallpaper
- Move to Secure Folder
- To print
