This only works if the filter has been applied in the gallery. It does not work for filters that have been applied when the photo was taken by the camera.
Any other thoughts most.welcome

Hi I figured out a way, you click on the i at the bottmem of the photo and you will find 3 option background effet, remaster and object eraser , and I removed the effect by clicking background effeet

It looks like in one UI 6.1.1 the i button is gone. Does anyone know how to fix this now?
