I have a problem i dont understand. I have A25 5g, i bought it in july maybe, so it six month, almost new phone. My charging when i use type c to type c cable work only with one side of cable, when i flip the cable, phone still detect superfast charging, but specialized programs show that my miliampers go down, not up. I tried different chargers, including original, different cables, including one that came with phone. Interesting detail, when i flip cable on chargers end, working side on phones end doesnt change, it stays always the same. Also when i use type a to type c, charging work with both sides of cable.

Upd. I had changed my type c port, and problem seem to be solved.

Hi @Teophrast and welcome

You could try wipe USB cache and data.
Settings > apps > arrow shaped icon at top > toggle show system apps press okay > search for USB SETTINGS > storage clear cache and data.

Make sure there's no debris, dust etc in you phones USB port.

Wipe cache partition:
Turn off your phone, plug to PC, tv etc press and hold power button and volume up button until samsung logo appears Then quickly release power button and keep holding volume up button until reboot menu appears then navigate with volume down button till wipe cache partition press power button Restart your phone.

See if chargers works when your phone is in safe mode, as there could be 3rd party apps causing these issues:

Try different wall plugs and different sockets around your house, check if cables not damaged and you can charge other devices or its same with other devices as well.1734368570737.jpg1734368570754.jpg1734368570768.jpg1734368570784.jpg

  • Clearing usb cache didnt help. Safe mod did not help too. I tried to clean port with pressurized air and with piece of paper. Also i tried different plugs at work and at home. Could it be bad electricity? Its very cold last few days. Maybe power plants overloaded?

This subject has come up recently in another thread on the forum.

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.

I would suggest to let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Sadly i dont think i can go to the samsung repair center. I have none in my city. Also i dont think i have a warranty. However what can i do is go to the regular repair center, and make them replace my type c port, which i dont want to do yet, because i am not 100% sure that my port is damaged and need to be replaced.
