You didn't mention which phone you have.

Settings > Notification > Advanced settings, if you have Notification history turned on, you can see which apps have received or sent notifications. Tap on those notifications, or go to Apps, look for that app and check how the notifications are set, maybe one is on vibrate, so change the mode, i.e. you can turn off vibration.

You can download Nice Catche,  Good Lock's modul

check the Notification advice mentioned.    However did you clear the cache partition after the update, in any case this can help with lags/device slowing down.

Follow these steps:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

@123car: If you have a case or cover on your phone which houses bank cards or other contactless cards, try removing them temporarily, or disabling NFC, to see if this helps.
