Smart Switch on a54 5g not picking up backups created on a14

Hi, 

As per the title, my a54 5g is not picking up the previous backups I've created  on a galaxy a14. I tried moving the backup to the internal storage from the sd card but smart switch is still not seeing it under the titel where it says restore from external storage.

Pls advise ?

@Habib1: Are you attempting to move your personal settings and data from the Galaxy A14 to the Galaxy A54 5G? If so, and if you would prefer to do an external storage transfer, please insert the SD card into your Galaxy A14, then head to Settings > Accounts and backup > External storage transfer, then follow the on-screen prompts. If successful, insert the SD card into the A54 5G and follow the same steps.

If the problem persists, I recommend using Smart Switch feature via Accounts and backup > Transfer data for device setup, to see if you have more success. For further information, please take a look at the link below.
