Last night my S21 was at 36% I had it under neath my leg in the car I went to grab it and there was no power. I tried all the buttons and even tried charging it when nothing happened the screen was still black no matter what I tried, I held the power and volume down multiple times and nothing. I wake up this morning to try my phone again and I held the power button and again nothing I waited a few and did it again then finally the screen came on showing it needed to be charged so I charged it and it turned on and works now but why did that happen and should I get a new phone?

@lydhan Did you hold the Power and Volume Down Buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds and longer with no effect and were you not able to enter Recovery Mode?  Yes otherwise need to see if the phone will wake up on charge, can take a bit of time to kick in though.

Best to monitor  it  but if face similar issues in future an upgrade may be appealing.

It sounds like an unfortunate glitch to me @lydhan

There is a diagnostic test tool found in your Samsung Members App.

If this does happen again then a Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
