Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Forum
The Private Compute Services (PCS) app is a system app on Android that protects privacy by processing sensitive data locally. It acts as a bridge between the Private Compute Core and the cloud, ensuring that private information is not exposed outside of the device.
PCS uses a variety of privacy-preserving technologies, including: federated learning, federated analytics, and private information retrieval.
PCS enables features like Smart Replies and Live Caption. While some users may experience performance issues, uninstalling PCS can lead to a loss of functionality and increased security risks.
