One UI 6.1 status bar icons color

I have white wallpaper and can't see the icons on the status bar; is there a way to change their color? I've also applied a theme for black-colored names under the app icons (I don't understand why it's not possible to change this without themes). Additionally, I am using a dark theme.

Why my old MIUI phone can detect color under status bar and change icons color, but OneUI can`t?

@MRsigma go back to a standard built in theme and then see what happens. 

We have seen some varying issues when a person downloads a theme to use. 

Goodlock maybe an avenue to explore.

Galaxy A15  I went to accessibility, vision enhancement, then high contrast fonts.
It didn't change the font color, but put a small outline around the letters which made them easier to see.
