Offficial Infra-Red Add-on for S7 ?

I was just wondering, is there any ( ideally offficial Samsung ) Infra-Red add-on for the S7 ?

I'm thinking here just of TV box control without some kind of wifi to I.R magic box sat inbetween when some module perhaps like one of those third party add-on battery things could offer IRed capabilities maybe.

I am vaguely aware I think that the proximity built in might work with an app but its range if it did work would be short. Suspect half a meter ( 1.5 ft ) if it did work for that purpose.

Summary: Some kind of " I.R Blaster " for the S7 , what are the options please ?

You can always downgrade to a S5, that had an IR blaster built in 😉

There are no IR blaster options for the S7, it doesn't have the necessary hardware.

Oh I know it's not got the hardware by default hence me asking about modules like battery packs etc, as in an external lump but for IR in this case.

Then a small app could control said add-on maybe.

If nothing exists that's fine though.
