Earphone jack not working

Hello

I am using a Galaxy M31 and the earphone jack is not working. The problem is that when I plig in it will work for a split second before dying. Is this a hardware problem? Have anyone come across such an situation.

Could u please try on another device to see if the earphone faulty or the jack of the phone.

Using a torch take a look inside the port to see if there is any debris inside @Sreekumar TS

@Sreekumar TS: Are you able to try another set of headphones to see if the issue persists? If it does, head to the Samsung Members app > Get Help > Interactive Checks > Headphone Jack, and follow the on screen instructions. Does this return any errors?
