Hi, I have been assured by someone at samsung that my phone supports ASHA (audio support for hearingaids) but my audiologist told me this week that only iPhone have the ability to do that. I can download the app that supports my hearingaids, and I can connect my hearingaids to that, so the app can tell me where my hearingaids are, change volume but I can't talk on the phone using them?

anyone else had a problem like this?

I have no current updates on my phone, I have restarted my phone, deleted and re uploaded the Oticon app, disconnected hearingaids from phone and re connected.
Am I missing something?

thank you

Hello! Welcome to the Samsung Community! I can see that it is supported in A54 5g. Please have a look at this guide on how to access the features. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-use-hearing-*****-with-samsung-galaxy-devic... . Hope this helps, have a nice day :).

thankyou. I have done that. But one thing I did explain to the Samsung operator this morning was, when I get to step 2, I don't have " hearingaid compatability, to adjust phone audio"

I only have "Bluetooth hearingaids" heading?

I just wonder why I haven't got that?

Although I have been through those steps and connected by Bluetooth and they show as being paired but when I click it or says " an app is needed to use this"
but the oticon app is downloaded and usable for basic things?? I connected to an iPhone and all goes well with that and i can speak on calls with it?

Hmm... I have read somewhere that there might be a compatibility issue with Opticon devices. Once you have set up all your devices, please make sure everything is up to date and restart both of your devices and see if the problem resolves. I am afraid I might be of much help beyond that so my recommendation is to reach out to Samsung Customer Care or the Customer care of your Opticon device. Please have a look at this link https://www.justanswer.co.uk/electronics/om4w4-smsung-galaxy-a54-h-listened-happily.html . Also if you have found a solution for this, please drop a message here so that it will be of help for others. Thank you very much.
