What do I have S21 or S21 FE ?

I ordered an S21 FE but, how do I tell if it actually is ?

I have done IMEI check at this site

and it shows this...

I connected phone to PC via usb and clicked properties of it to show this info

Going in to phone settings about phone shows
Produce name: Galaxy S21 5G
Model name: SM-G991B/DS

Android vers - 13
Google play system update - 1 July 2022

I checked this site for model info
SM-G991BZVGEUA (Phantom Violet – 256GB) - seems right for the phone and what I ordered apart from it does not confirm it is FE ?
Chipset - Exynos 2100
Shows for UK

I also checked that it should be unlocked but, when starting the phone it did install something to do with EE...

Is there any actual way to confirm 100% what phone I actually have - as I wanted the FE and everything seems to point to this just being the S21 standard ?

I tried camera to see about telephoto lens and read about a leaf icon for this which I dont see - but, maybe I look wrong place but, that would indicate if missing it does not have telephoto and therefore the FE.

Same with screen size I measured with tape diagnol and its approx - 6.25" ~(16cm)
Height of phone about 6 inch (15cn)
width = 2.75 inch (7cm)

Just went into about phone - battery and showed battery capacity at 4000 mah
I thought the FE was meant to be 4500 mah.

This all makes me think this is S21 but, how do I activate telephoto lens and what other checks can I do to confirm one way or another.

Yes it does prove which one it is the FE is colour matched round the camera lenses and the battery size is 4500mah for the S21 FE. You have an S21 not an S21 FE. I suggest you take it back to where you purchased it from.

What information did it have on the box it came in. Iv'e the S22ultra and it clearly shows what type of model it is along with the phone specs and colour etc

Its NOT new so not original box etc. Its from CEX UK so they can come in any box.
I also never rely on what a box says but, the actual item itself.

However, mine is not the same colour - as camera is kind of gold around it and around the side of phone too.

I think they have just put FE on site by accidnt then it seems with wrong info.

Ok so which is better ? I wanted the S21 FE because of it being newer and I cant quite afford the S22.
So between S21 and S21 FE I heard bigger screen, bigger battery and it will get more android updates than the S21 - is that true ?

Personally I'd take it back and get the phone that you wanted as it's a newer model, larger battery and larger screen. The rest of the phone i believe is the same.

That's just my opinion ofc.

Will the FE get more updates than the standard S21 since it came out Jan 22 with newer Android OS on it to begin with ? That to me gives more longevity support and peace of mind if true - let me know - thanks
