Whastapp voice call is not working when the screen turns off during call

I'm not able to hear the voice or the persons on other side are not able to hear my voice when the screen turns off during the whatsapp voice call. Same problem from normal call also.

I believe I have found the root cause of the issue and have successfully resolved it. To fix the problem, navigate to your device's Settings > Battery > Background usage limits. Within this section, you will find an option labeled "Never auto sleeping apps." add WhatsApp to this list.

By implementing this change, I am now able to engage in WhatsApp calls without any disruptions, even when my screen is turned off or when I am multitasking on my phone.

Hi everyone, I faced the same issue on my Samsung S24 Ultra. Here's how I resolved it: Remove WhatsApp from the Sleeping Apps list.
