I recently updated from UI6.0 to 6.1. Following the update I had no audio from my Galaxy Buds or in car when connected via bluetooth for calls or media. (Microphone still worked)

I changed Bluetooth Audio Codec from SCC to AAC and this resloved the issue with media however there is still no audio in calls.

Hi @Willows16.

I suggest you clear the data from the Bluetooth Share app on your phone. Open Settings > Apps > Menu (3 dots top-right) > Show system apps > Tap on the Bluetooth Share app > Storage > Clear data. Also, please make sure that your car's stereo is updated before you establish a connection with it.

Didn't work unfortunately. I also backed up the phone and factory reset it. This did not work either.

Spoke to Samsung support and they want to bring it in however it's two months out of warranty.

Pretty poor when an update renders functions unusable.

Why would a user need to update their car stereo if it had previously been working fine before Samsung's update? That's clutching at straws.

My 21 fe + 5G has the same issue with the Bluetooth connectivity.  Says I am connected to audio and calls, yet I can not hear anything thru a JBL speaker I  have had connected for quite some time now.  Not to mention the ongoing issues with the Wifi not working at all since an update in late February 2024.  Ive talked to Samsung

support as well as my provider tech support.  Was told by both parties I needed a new phone.  I am currently paying the 11th payment of 36.  In my humble opinion, is this not a new phone?   I have been a diehard Samsung fan for many years.  But i am officially thinking I need to cancel my AT&T service and trade in for a freaking Apple phone. (UGH).  I also do not understand why the 21fe + 5G is not listed in the Samsung members site??? Has anyone fixed any of the issues with the 21 fe + 5G???

I have the same problem. My headphones used to work perfectly, both for media and calls.

I remember calling a friend for hours on these headphones, a few months ago. I only use Bluetooth for long calls, which is why I probably didn't notice until now. Then my phone got a few updates, which is what introduced the bug, imo.

I've tried resetting the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings, tried the A2DP thing on the dev settings... Nothing works! The very same headphones work perfectly on an iPhone, and I can make calls.

It's really frustrating. Please help us!

I've had the same issues for 3 years! I finally got my car to connect with music but my headphones don't do anything more than a quick split second of sound when I change settings in the dev mode, and I was asked to connect to a Bluetooth speaker and it was great advertisement for how much better every phone is compared to Samsung because it was dead silent at a pool. Everyone who rides in my car can use their phone and talk easily except for me and my Samsung.

I was tempted to send it in like they suggested but my work at the time required a daily 2 factor identification and wouldn't supply me with a work phone so given I would be without a phone for however long it took was not feasible.

It took 2 years for someone to find the Developer options and the fix for music for my car. And now that's the only Bluetooth device that works for music.

I used to love Samsung, I bragged about so much but after these last 3 years of this issue with my phone and now my headphones not pairing after the next software update and going through everything up to a factory reset about 3 times to no success - I'm never buying Samsung again.
