Timer, can't get rid of clock icon

The clock that appears to remind that you have an alarm set is always showing although I don't have any alarms or timers set. Since the latest software update

See if this helps.

Settings,  Apps, Clock, Storage,  Clear cache. And clear data if necessary.

I deleted all the historic alarms I had set but were "off" and that removed the timer  👍
