I had the same issue when I updated my Fold³ to Android 12 @Gerrymac
At first I resolved this temporarily by turning Off predictive text and or used Gboard.
I ended up resetting the Samsung Keyboard which resolved the issue.
When your Samsung Keyboard is open i.e while on a reply or in your Samsung Messaging app tap on the settings and then reset to default settings.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

Yes I found the keyboard was fine on the Samsung Messaging App etc but misbehaved on this forum and the UK Vodafone Community forum too @Gerrymac
