Hello,
I'm having problems with my Galaxy S21 Ultra auto reading my text messages before I even open them. My phone will vibrate, the message icon will pop up in my notification bar, then disappear immediately. So 90% of the time I don't realize I have a text message. When I open my messaging app, it shows at being already read.
This is happens with SMS or MMS messages only - not snapchat or FB messages.
This happens will all messaging apps. I've tried Verizons, Samsungs, Google
I've already toggling notification settings, restarted my phone, factory reset, and this is a refurbished phone (same issue w. Previous phone)
TIA

In the messaging app
Tap on the three dots and go into settings
Go into notifications and see if deliver quietly is selected.
If so select sound and vibration
Not sure if this would be the issue but a possible solution
Could even be the way your service provider pushes the messages to your phone

Hi!
I already checked that a few times over. But I turned off my "always on" and turned off preview message and it seems to have helped. It's almost like when my screen would turn on with the notification, the phone would take the preview on the screen as me reading the message, even though I didn't even open the app. Hopefully this sticks!

I tried @BriDelvaux solution, restarted phone and it worked for about 15 minutes then the issue started happening again.
Is there a solution for this yet?
