Spotify Controls Missing on Lock Screen

The Spotify controls are missing on my lock screen and I can't find how to get them to appear. The Music widget does not resolve this issue.

Hi,
Try below
Go to Settings,
and tap Lock Screen,
Then tap Notifications.
Just find the Widgets option and set the Lock screen and Always on Display
to the Music controller
And once you have
Spotify playing
It will show on the Lock screen

The dots are where l removed
My Email and phone number

Also works with amazon music

Shoddy widget! Bring back the audible and Spotify separate widgets. They were much better why did Samsung need to change them and not even provide one for audible.

Unfortunately this hasn't worked for me; in the widget options, the Music bar was never turned off and has always been on. If anyone manages to work out how to fix it please post!

I had the same problem after the latest Samsung update. Just solved it by logging out of Spotify and logging back in again!

I've done that too but still hasn't worked for me. Not sure what else I can do at this point.

Hi I had the same issue with no Spotify on lockscreen

Go to Settings>Apps>Spotify >notifications>Show notifications

Was driving me crazy for weeks but finally figured it out

In case it's not working for someone else, I found a different way to have the music show on the lock screen. 

When an app like Spotify is playing, swipe down from the top when your phone is unlocked. > Swipe down again on the Spotify widget and press Media Output > Press 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Turn on Use while the phone is locked.
