Smart numbers

The number for our local hospital is a Smart number on my phone. However, I cannot phone the hospital main switchboard because it connects directly to a Subway sandwich shop. Phone thinks the hospital main switchboard is Subway. Have tried all ways to rectify but no luck. So, if I don't have the direct number of the department I want, I can't contact them. Help please!!!

Can you ring this smart number OK from a different phone @Valleygirl 

It may not be the phone at issue.

So it maybe beneficial to speak with your network provider customer services and the hospital in question to enquire if it's a problem on their network and if there's a direct number for the department in question.

Thank you for your help. I added the number to my contact list and dialled the number and it seems to be OK now. Don't know why I didn't think of this in the first place. Thank you again.
