Signal showing lte instead of 3g or 4g

Hi all I have a samsung s8, have been told it's not a uk model, I am on three and my brother is on the same network with the same phone but always has faster internet and 4g showing where as mine shows lte and is alot slower can anyone , my network has verified the problem is with the phone can anyone help please?
